NY 1990 RX7 Convertible ECU Replacement

I'm looking to replace my N353 ECU but that # appears to be hard to come by. I found the following list in another thread. Does anyone know if I can use the N351 ECU as a direct replacement? Or are the N352 and N353 the only ones that function properly in the convertibles?

California N350
Federal (non-California) N351
California, Convertible N352
Federal, Convertible N353

Thanks

I put an N351 in my 1989 vert and it works but the radio is not functioning. Im not sure if that has anything to do with the fact that I put a coupe ECU into a VERT. But the car cranks.

Thanks guys. I was able to find another thread that stated that ECU's with the same first 2 #'s (ie.."35" in this case") can be used interchangeably. I'm hoping there are no "small" issues caused by this...like Seamoan's radio not working above. I'm wondering what the difference is between a California emissions configured ECU and the N353 (Federal). Is the only difference some electronically controlled emissions spec that will have no other effect on the performance of the RX7 it is installed in? Obviously people have done it in here so I'll probably just go for it.

The difference should be emissions.

If you change channels on the radio and the Boost kicks in then it would be a slight wiring problem..lol!..Rock station..BRAAAAAAAP..(cool..heh,heh..cornholio..lo l!)
But the radio not working has zilch to do with the ECU or engine harness.
