Possibly for sale, Carbon hood, broken carbon front lip
I might be selling My carbon hood and a broken mazdaspeed Replica carbon fiber front lip.
Hood is in great shape and fits rather well. It is unpainted and does not have holes for hood pins eather. I have been up past 100mph with no problems but it does start to flex after about 70 mph. HOOD PINS STONGLY RECOMMENDED.
As for the lip. The damage happened in shipping, not while it was on the car. Currently I have it on a 93 bumper, and it fits great. It was made for the 99+ spec car though. The crack is right in line with the drivers side brake duct. It could be repaired and painted while still keeping the rest carbon.
Hood, I would like to get $475 Picked up
Lip I would like to get $275 Picked up
If some one whanted both I could break a deal. Even a better deal if this could happen real soon.
You can see abit of the damage on the lip in ths first pic. I will try and get some better photos of the damage.

Couple questions about the hood:
Are the edges rolled or cut?
Any imperfections in the clearcoat, fractures etc?
Any idea who the actual manufacturer is?
You say that the fitment is "rather good" what is it that makes it not a perfect fit?
The reason I am asking all this is because I already have a Mazdaspeed replica and the fitment is "rather good" but the quality sucks. ie cut edges, low spots in the clear, fractures, delamination etc.
Anyway I am interested in the hood, you can email me at csanders@banzairacing.net
Thanks

Not to sure who the manufacture is. It is a little diferent than the mazdaspeed replica. The front edge of the vent does not curve up, but stays flush with the rest of the lines.
There are none of the imperfections you speak of. The edges are rolled, atleast they are not just cut.
The fit is actually really good. The fender gap is spot on. Including the top curve of the hood to fender. The only thing I am not to sure on is the head light cover gaps. Because I have after maket lights. The place were the fender and hood is near perfect, as is the front bumper edges with the front of the hood.
Hopfully that answers some of your questions.
