Earlier in the summer, when I had C16 in the tank and running 24psi. My buddies set up a race with me vs a 02-04? Honda RC51, 07 GSXR 1000, and a 04 GSXR 750, ALL of which were MODDED. We went on the interstate 4 deep from a 40 roll. I got the jump and about 2.5 seconds later the GSXR1000 goes by me on a wheelie, riding it out all the way. The RC51 started falling back and the GSXR750 fell back and held its ground. I stopped at ~160 with the GSXR1000 buses infront of me. (He said he took it to 190mph). The RC51 was about 3-4 cars back and the GSXR750 was about 1.5-2 cars back. Awesome race but I didnt have my camera with me.........

I used to work with a biker guy, heavy into sport bikes and riding...we always went back and forth about racing. I dont remember what bike he had but it was a 600cc. We never got to run cause he crashed and busted his leg up pretty good and I blew up my engine. I really wanted to see how it would turn out!

just from experience the old 600's and new 2006 600's are totally different machines.
The new 600cc bikes are like the old 1000cc
ive ran a yzfr6 long ago and raped him with a untunned t78, and did a 06 cbr600 and he pulled on me till 140 with the 478 that i have.

cobra special? and also, phil, can you send me any/all info regarding your insurance setup? im def. interested in switching and resting assured with the fact that my car is insured for what its actually worth and not stock KBB. thanks man.

wait on the high way a 600 sucks *****, your tires must really suck man cause there is no way a 600 can get you. I race an r6 once and i would be lucky to make 300 to the wheels. But he didnt shift low enough and i smoked him. New tires, thats one fast car you got man hope mine can be there one day.

I did 7.1 in the 1/8th on my 04 ZX-6R, my friends R1 could leave me like I was standing still man. Liter bikes are stupid fast, so are 600's so to even half-way keep up with them is amazing man. And nocomply to say 600's suck ***** on the highway you must ride a liter bike, cause I could crank on it and see 140 in no time
