My First FD!
I've been browsing the site for several months now and have already gained up a tremendous amount of knowledge from here. It's a shame I didn't join the forum before now.
Anyway, I picked up a '93 RX-7 at the end of last September. The FD has always been my "attainable dream car", so it's truly exciting finally owning one. I've put over 6k miles on her since purchase, and have enjoyed every minute behind the wheel.
Purchased with some good bolt-on mods, and some terribly unflattering wheels (18X8 +50, IIRC ). Since then, I've sourced some stockers to temporarily ride on, along with given a little tune-up to her including all new fluids (NEO synthetic trans and diff fluid FTW), spark plugs, F&R brake pads and rotors, along with a few other bits.
It's been exciting learning about all the intricacies of the rotary engine and sequential turbos. I come from a Nissan and Honda background, so all things Mazda are new to me.
Looking forward to meeting some new folks thru here. I'm curious how many others are from GA, or at least the southeast region. See you guys around!
