C2 Extreme Dimention body kit. Turning light type needed?
I got this C2 Extreme Dimention body kit and it doesn't use the stock turn lights. When I called the store that sold they told me to call Extreme dimentions. I called them and they have no idea. They molded it on a custom car a while ago and have no idea what light I need.
Does anybody out there have this body kit and know what kind light I need to buy to get it to fit and or where to buy it?
those are the 99 spec turn signals. Authentic ones are around $380.00, knock-offs are about $200.00. Look all voer ebay for the knock-offs, or Rotary Extreme or Rx7store for the authentics. Hope this helps
oh I got it. Its made by morons. so many defects. I called them to get the lights that it was molded for and they had no idea and were not helpful at all. It cost me another 30 hours at $36/hour to get it to fit and another 8 hours worth to paint. ei $1200
There were a lot of defects that the body shop had to add fiberglass so their weren't gaps. Then the side skirts had nothing to keep them up. So they suggested molding it on. Therefore, repainting entire car. Luckaly it could us a paint job.
My recomendations, avoid Extreme dimentions their cheap moldings. Do the research before hand and make sure its a bold on kit that will fit and you'll save in the long run. Although I bought it for 600 vs 1500 for original C2 by Carbon Creations. Same look. So total I lost 300 bucks by trying to save.
Thanks guys for the info on the light type. 99 spec. I guess that makes sense.
Are there different types or can I just ask for that?
if you just asked us before buying it, almost anyone here couldve told you that :p http://www.rotaryextreme.com/99b.html
for knock off lights, but they have been known to melt after a few hours of use
damn man you should have just bought the reall deal c-west front and saved alot of money. i bought the R.E. replica of the RE Amemyia N1 and it fit pretty good no-major work had to be done. always buy body stuff from people of have a good rep. b/c it can cost way more in the end.
