For the box and duct, we have been quoted $1620AUD.
Add on the carbon pipes and air pump muffler for about $1000AUD
And then figure for tax and post.

So, somewhere a bit north of $2000 landed, for the complete intake setup.
Or, a bit higher than $1250 for the box with duct.

Grant at SMB did say this intake will fit with the S6 nose.

Here are a couple interesting shots of the intake as seen around the front frame

If I go 20b with stock sequential turbos will my m2 intake and these pipes still fit?
I'm thinking the m2 intake can be bolted in place but I may need to make custom pipe lengths to reach it.

Great idea by the way, it's total bs to use metal pipes for intake pipe, it's like a reverse radiator for intake Temps.

The SP intakes are still available with all parts, and we could organize a group purchase of those or other SP parts, if there is committed financial interest. I'm not sure there would be much in the way of savings, but the bulk purchase would likely make the commissioning of the parts much more convenient for interested parties. The vendors are half a world away, and very busy. So our collective order helps get priority manufacturing.

The internal debate on how much I want this intake box vs how much it costs is giving me gray hairs.

Seconded, on both accounts. Looking a little grim, at the moment.

I am very interested, but quite pricy, to be honest.

What ever happened with this? Not enough interest I guess? I recently contacted SMB and they promptly responded saying the airbox was discontinued. They did not give any indication that they would be willing to create new ones.

Maybe we can start this back up and change their minds.
