If you can create something similar to that you will have a lot of people sending you money (including people from Japan.) I have been trying to score an aluminum pedal for the longest time.

I'm very interested in this gas pedal. Particularly if you make the holes beveled like the oem pedals and your latest design.

As far as the dead pedal goes, you could produce a flat cover that screws to the oem plastic dead pedal. I have this one that I'll put a link to below from Autovation, and it gets the job done.

Autovation Dead Pedal

Since it is just a flat part, should be easier than a whole gas pedal. And if you can mimic the oem beveled holes, I'm sure they would sell quickly. The ones that were made many moon ago on this forum never go up for sale. GoodfellaFd3s has one in his car.

+1

Let me know when you finish making the final product for the dead and gas pedal. I hate the OEM gas pedal look.

Ive created a basic dead pedal plate model. What do you guys think of the pattern? Also I machined a little sample piece with an internal dish and through hole like the clutch and break pedals.

Redbul, we cant talk about prices yet as this is just an interest thread but Ill keep you guys updated!

It sounds like you guys like the dead pedal cover so I will go ahead and make a prototype hopefully this weekend along with a wide pedal prototype so we can see how it looks in aluminum.

I will find out for you. I do NOT have access to a RHD car to try the parts on but I will look up if they have the same part numbers etc and see if they will work.

BC RHD JDM Parts Numbers

If you have a source for JDM RHD parts numbers please share! I have a copy of the English language USDM parts catalogue. Most parts are in there. But I have not seen one for JDM specific. I suspect it only exists in Japanese (which I can read). I have some RHD gas pedals. Perhaps I 'll send you a picture and check if there is a part number on them.

There might be a European (British) Parts Catalogue which would include RHD parts (I'd hope).

The accelerator would be compatible with RHD, but the dead pedal would not.

Thanks for the info! I looked up the dead pedal and you are definitely correct, it is a different shape. The picture MattGold posted was a RHD deadpedal, you can see that its more triangular than the LHD. I have ordered a used RHD deadpedal to model off of.

Looking great Sideo. Would love to see a full dead pedal replacement. Also wondering if the dead pedal should have an outline along the perimeter similar to the other pedals?

Looking good, the hole and bevel match well. Can't wait to see the finished product.
