As I felt like being cheap, I ended up buying Level Zero Poly transmission mounts. These are 95A durometer and after about 500 miles of use, they still make the car rattle like crazy. The shifter response is direct, but I can't stand the amount of vibration transmitted to the cabin and I'll be replacing these with Mazda Competition rubber mounts. (I know the main bushing is missing in this pic, was just for mock-up)
