FINALLY, pics from the 7/13 Syracuse cruise!

Talking FINALLY, pics from the 7/13 Syracuse cruise!

First off, sorry for the delay in posting these. I've been having major computer trouble and was supposed to post these up for Mark like a month ago.

Anyways, It was a great day. Got to the I-90/I-81 toll plaza around 11:30, sat around talking at the toll plaza about an hour waiting for everyone to show up, then headed over to our favorite tight shirted female eating establishment , and hit the roads after that.

We took the highway out of Syracuse into the backroads and ended up at a place called "13 curves". 1 mile of 13 freshly paved perfect curves with great scenery too!

Once getting done with the photo session there, we headed back the way we came, and went to tackle the roads from the last cruise we had in Syracuse last fall.

After terrorizing the local mid 80s F bodies and almost getting a ricer flyby from a geo, we get to where the fun starts again. Spiritedly hanging the corners, and then pulling off by the Chittenango river(?).

Then after a target practice session in the river, we head out to pick up one of the members of Marks (CNYRX7Tech) band Sonsue, and for Mark to show us the riceboys in his old part of town. Neon green Grand Am with double decker wing is all I'll say for that

Now we then head back towards Syracuse where Mark shows us all the worst exit ramp in the history of asphalt , help unload equipment at a local bar that Sonsue will be playing that night, and head over to the shop to play with the pyrometer

All in all a great day, just too bad the NJ/PA/MA guys can't drive 4-5 hours for some cruising

Now, on to the pics!

First one we have is all of us in the Carousel mall in Syracuse. From left to right its Glass Man, Twistedjeckel, 5.9rotorM3 in his M3 as the FD was a ways away I beleive, then myself and CNYRX7Tech. Note the theme for the RX-7s of the cruise

ton o fun that day. gotta make my car faster and handle better though. first things first. get rid fo teh honda. and Glassman, how come theres no shots of you drifting around any corners? *****!!!!! j/k. good luck out there and get back here quick so we can clean up your car and have some fun drives. i'm going through non sequential twin turbo withdrawls.

Yes the Syracuse area cruises ARE THE BEST!!!!! Very little traffic and fresh paved twisties.

Only if we could bring some of the sissy's from down state up here with their rx7's then it would be a blast.

Anyone interested in a Labor Day Cruise?

I'm game, but I need to fix my car first.

Mark - how much would you charge to remove the exhaust, driveshaft, and tranny? I need to find out why I'm getting a bad rattle/knock when the clutch is out at certain rpms and don't really feel like crawling back under and wrestling with the tranny again.

Geoff...I'll pull your tranny for $100...just bring it out to Iowa...lol. Actually, I am in NY now until the end of this week. Mark, I'll be stopping by the shop on either Thursday or Friday to say hello...I'll be in the Subaru.

Nice pics...too bad I wasn't there...I could have added some color and picked on the M3...er...gotten picked on by the M3.
