Here's my Tec GT project. Not pretty but hopeing it will do the job. Ran in to a few problems like alternator overcharging cause the ecu to turn off randomly, and maxing out the injectors???? But it looks like things are looking better.

I've got the TEC GT as well. Ray Wilson at PF Supercars (PFS) tunes my car. He's very familiar with Electromotive, and IMHO, he's the best tuner around. I drive 5 hours to MD to see him.

Also, if you call electromotive or email, they are very helpful over the phone.

I wish I had used the TEC3R though, the GT can't handle a 20b, so if i ever decide to convert, i'll need to buy another ECU.

I do all my own tuning and played with every setting there is. Best way to learn is to work through all the problems, and I have had a few of them. Huge learning curve with the Tech GT. But things are starting to look good.

Just bought an older TEC3 unit from a BMW guy.

May end up selling it and getting the TEC3R for my 20B.

I've used my laptop to change settings, its pretty straight forward. Having the manual is also helpful.

I have an older TEC3 Purple Box on one of my FD's.. I had a local guy at Rotary Revival through a base tune back on my car because it kept flooding out the rear rotor. I want to get Steve Khan to tune my car.. How do you guys control your OMP? Or have you all deleted it completely and run premix like myself?
