Never do business with themodcity.com and iconz wheels

I purchased a set of wheels from themodcity.com in october of last year and I still have not recieved them nearly 8months later. Mitch the guy from themodcity.com never returns call or messages even after promising multiple times what i was also not told when ordering was that mitch has some sort of share or ownership in Iconz wheels. I have caught Mitch at Themodcity.com in multiple lies and they seem to to be nearly incompetent he couldnt even calculate backspacing when given offset. Nearly 8 months after ordering Mitch refuses to return my money on the grounds that the deposit isnt returnable if the wheels are late which would be understandable if they were a few weeks or even a month late but 5 months after the promised delivery date come on!

That sucks, hopefully you did use a CC. I'm pretty sure he would return your calls once the payment was reversed!

ICONZ is back! under a new name with the same tricks. They are now called 365 autosports. These guys would work out of new york and florida from varying locations around the areas they lived. Under the Iconz name they were banned on many forums throughout the internet for stealing peoples money for wheel purchases. I have too lost money from them but it was not for a set of wheels but for a lip for my M3. They are now making their way across many forums setting up sponsorships looking to scam more people, so if you are part of another forum pass this along to save another car enthusiast brother and stop these guys. I spend a lot of time on m3forum.net and they are now sponsors there but are being called out on it. just wanted to give everyone a heads up as I used to be a part of this forum long ago. The FD still holds a place in my heart, I have just moved on to other cars I want to own. one day I may be back though in a FD. if 365 autosports make it your way just wanted you guys to be prepared to not give them your business . Here is a good read of info on their history and past companies they have worked under. please give it a read when you get a chance and pass this info on to other enthusiasts. So after all this time since my last post, Paul Daniel and Kenneth Joel, from 365 autosports decided to finally refund my money. I am so glad this is over and now we can both move on from here. It was a struggle like pulling teeth from a crocodile but they did come through to make things right with me .

well after I left them a somewhat positive review for Daniel Paul Ackerman and Kenneth Joel Ackerman, now they want me to have 365 autosports removed from here. I have a problem with that. To me it looks like they are trying to hide from the fact that they were from Iconz, A company that screwed a lot of people out of money. Trying to erase any bad or negative reviews made about 365 Autoports. This looks bad in my eyes and seems rather fishy... I dont like it. why not just practice good customer service to begin with and you wouldn't have this problem. I don't know how anyone would trust to purchase a set of wheels from them when they build their company on which seems to be lies. Do the research people and save for self the headache.

Yeah, this thread isn't going anywhere. I'm glad you were refunded your money, but that doesn't mean this gets swept under the rug.

I'm curious, what was the dollar amount of your transaction?
