is there an idle solenoid?

i have this little clicking noise under my dash, seems to be near the gauge pod but it only happens when my car is idleing and even then, it only happens about 75% of the time. i've not noticed any difference in the way the car is functioning but am a little worried. i think i remember reading something similar to this a few weeks back and someone said it was the idle solenoid but i'm not having any luck finding the post with searching. does that even exist? if it sounds like i'm just making stuff up, what else could it be?

There is an Idle Speed Control solenoid valve (ISC) located behind your UIM by the TB.

ISC controls the volume of air that goes through the throttle valve. Basically it runs feedback loop to assist with smooth idle.

Don't know what the clicking might be.
