Sos Help!!!!!!
when my friend tryed to replase my boost gauge he short circuted it.
now i have no power windows, power to the stereo, turn signal, i have lights on allt the gauges but they dont work!!!! no rpm.speedo, temp or oil. i have cheked all the fuses and they seam fine (the box in the foot end)
ps this is an 350hk jdm TypeR FD.
what could be fucked? the ecu or an relay?
everything else work fine. i have normal tail and front lights(no turn signal though)
please help me!!!!

I'm a CF and poop smith
omg how did he short circute anything by hooking up a boost gauge??? don't ever have him do anything for your car every again!
in anycase, i agree, check all fuses in the engine bay as well as under the dash, there are quite a few which you might not know exhist unless you start unbolting things and start looking under them.
also, yes he could have very well shorted out your ecu (i have no clue on what the hell he tapped or shorted out)
look at it this way, you can get a new Power FC sooner then you though

don't race, don't need to
OK, what I was pointing you at was the fuse that is in common with all the symptoms you describe. The fuse that sits forward most in the little block of fuses mounted to the battery. To be absolutely sure it's ok, you need to test it. As with any fuse test, you need to try running current through it, such as with a circuit tester that lights up when the circuit is ok, and does not light up when it is bad. If you have a multi function ohm-meter, you can check to see the resistance, which should be zero.
What kind of boost gauge was it?

ok i will chek the 40amp fuse with an multimeter,
it looks ok but who knows.
belive me he will never do anything electrical for me again,
the gauge was an krappy old one. no name.
he shorted the +and the - wire while changing the gauge. (stupidfucker )
