So many issues...

I have been trying to do things right to my car since I've had it (almost a year). However I just can't seem to get it right. My engine is running great which I am thankful for, except I never get to enjoy it. After my car was tuned and I started making 450+ hp **** started to break. First LSD, then axels then clutch, then master and slve cyl.

After sitting for while my KAAZ lsd has gone to crap I could hardly drive the thing. It naturally has a ratcheting sound on slow turns, but now it goes cray on any curve. I took it apart reshimmed it new oil and broke it in again. Now when I come of the gas it make a clanking sound, and still pulls a lil. Any advice on this?

Meanwhile while I thought my car was driveable, I was trying to redo the whole exterior. I got a KS VIS hood, re-am sides and bumper, EXCEPT i got them from pre-auto, worst mistake I have done to my car ever. I got the bumper today and it was the biggets POS i have ever layed eyes on. MY buddy had a 91 Accord e-bay special $71 he was doing at the same place that put mine to shame. Chris at Pre now says he is going out business. I know I am fucked on this one.

Anyway I pray Shine will work better for me does their burnout bumper look ok without the widebody?

I just needed to vent I research this forum often and I hate doing something twice, I think I need a mentor or something...https://www.rx7club.com/newthread.ph...ewthread&f=16#

I take it you drag race the car a lot? I've been making over 400 rwhp for over 3 years now, stock axles and cryoed TII diff, no problems, but I've only been to the strip once in that time.

yea the drag racing thing is bad simply put. I have come to point where I am scared to launch the car, b/c the last three times I had to be pulled of by a 4 wheeler. (not pimpin) I just had goals of running a 10.999 and 500hp. Were you running slicks tho?

You always give out some good info in your posts Rich . I am going to be your silent Padawon. btw what kind of stuff do you do

Add some drag radials and say good by to those stock axles. People are snapping those at 350rwhp.

Brake and clutch hydraulics just fail sometimes. Keep them bled with fresh fluid and that shouldn't happen much again.

But the drivetrain you have will break at 450hp. Often, with good tires. That's not a case of the car having 'issues', that's a case of huge amounts of torque.

I'll send ya a PM later. Build, port, you name it.

As far as my FD, I've never built it to be a drag car, more of a street car/highway monster/road race car, with drag racing in the mix but behind all of those other activities. I've always drag raced on street tires, with the only broken parts being a PPF on a few occasions.
