Resonator for a special case.
Hey everyone, i do not post much in here. My build thread will be posted soon it will take a few hours for the thread alone, i have hundred's of pictures, however i am here to ask you guys a question...
I have a 2004 RX8 swapped 13b-rew, RUnning Stock RX8 6 Speed, its a HBP, running, GTX4202r, E85, full blown etc etc etc,
Car made 703whp @ 7000 RPM on E70 fuel, reading via Zeitronix flex fuel sensor, couldnt get to 8500RPM because vacuum lines kept blowing off, so i'm sure the car is close, or at 800whp
OK, So I have a 4" DP to 4" piping all the way back to a Apexi N1 Turbo Muffler. the car idles roughly between 1900-2000RPM. it is extremely loud and here in CA it can be both a good and bad thing lol. i want to quiet it down, I need some opinions on which resonators work best wiith high horsepower builds and don't blow out, also without really restricting or creating a butt load of backpressure! i was looking into Vibrant Resonators, and BHR resonator.... anyone have any input?
I have searched and didn't find much
Thanks.

here's my .02... the Rx8 has a lot of space for a muffler in the back, and i think i'd try to use it. either find the biggest thing you can, or put two smaller ones in there.
a small resonator where the cat was would probably help too, if needed.
as an aside, the Peripheral ports idle under 1000rpm, don't see why yours wouldn't as well
