New Rx7
Hi
I just bought a 96 efini rx7 in Japan. Ive been here for 2 years and needed to get some wheels.
My car has got 66000Klms on the clock. A bit high for a car in japan but anyway. This car was a former Apexi demo car so it has been fitted with an AFC, new air intake pipes suspension upgrades new exhaust and upgraded ignition system. I havent finished checking it out yet.
Anyway can anyone suggest any thing I should look out for on a recently purchased rotary? Im new to rotary engines.
Thanks.....

Doesnt look like a 96 to me unless someone did some converting...
66,000kms isnt terrible but not great either, remember its only about 37000miles hehe
Where in Japan are you?

Where is everyone from?
Im in Tokyo.
Ive got to pay about 300 US a month just to get a place to park it. So its kind of expensive to own a car in the city here.

For a '96 rotary car 66K is not bad but it all depends on how the car was driven by prev owner (especially area like Tokyo). Anyway the car looks cool. Happy FD ride in Tokyo

This car had a small front collision so they replaced the front with a later bumper. Seems pretty common for alot of used sports cars in japan. Something maybe you might want to watch out for if your importing a car from Japan.

I always check the oil. Smell it mine smelled like gas, (I have the fuel dilution problem) but I bought it anyway and I'm glad I did.
