well price per hour probably averages around 60-70 bucks an hour at most shops, so 65 X 9 + 585 so probably somewhere around there

I'm not sure if that time is correct labor time, i didnt charge my friend 9 hours. Just want to see what people have actually paid to get it done.

I'm pretty sure I paid 8 hours of labor when I had mine replaced, but that was over 2 years ago.

It can be done in 3 to 4 hours depending on how good you are. I would suggest replacing the injector lines also, they always crack. That would cause alot more labor though. The pump aint so bad though. ****, if I could get a 9 hour labor charge for that I would. I wouldnt charge a friend that though, just aint right.

Call a mazda service center and ask for their spec time for the replacement. Like rynburg said though, I believe its around 8-9 hours.

I charged my friend $200 for the labor with an oil change. Total time took about 3 hours.
