hey everyone thanks for taking the time to talk to a noob about the rotarys :P but i have a few questions but heres what i have first i have a jdm spec 92 rx7 fd3s and it was running fine the other day but now today i went to start it and the starter solenoid clicked but there was no cranking i was just kinda curious if you had any insight on what just happened i just bought a brand new battery today and charged it and there was still only the click and i was alos curious about reliable upgrades i could do to the car anyways thanks matt

ive got an update
i started my car tonight to see what was going on (by push starting) and i went to turn on the heater and the wipers and they didnt work. i also noticed that i have a power fc in my car but theres a black wire with red stripes around it not attached to the pfc so could that be whats wrong?

and this black wire with a red stripe is spliced into a brown wire with a silver stripe.. this is getting confusing. im going to try to swap out the starter tomrrow.but if anyone else has any other ideas there all welcome

ok so i swapped a different starter in there and i checked the fuse and the fuse was bad so i changed it ..low and behold the car started but i took it for a drive and i turned it off and now it wont start again i checked the fuse and its still good. i put it on the hoist and i had my friend short the starter to make it crank the engine but wwhen he took the screw driver off the starter kept running so now i dont know whats going on... comon guys you must have some ideas here?
