FD guys, what do you think?

Hey guys, have an FC, looking at FD's. Put a deposit down (transferable) on a JDM import. It is a GREAT price because it isn't boosting (turbos are fine garaunteed) and it needs a new coolant level and coolant temp sensor.
I can deal with the boosting when I get it back but it is about a 3 hour drive, and HERE IS MY QUESTION... I want to know if it is safe to drive either as is or should I replace the sensors? I am not looking for hundreds of reasons why I shouldn't buy JDM or an FD though.
Can anyone tell me how difficult it might be to replace those sensors? and
If it will be okay to drive it without boost?
Thanks guys, I really appreciate your help.

1) both can be repaired without a large fuss, although I'd probably take steps to drive it home first if possible. You don't need boost to drive it.

2) it could be a bad wiring harness, and those cost around $1000cdn. That's a bigger job to fix, although it's a great opportunity to change out a bunch of stuff that tends to need changed. Injector cleaning, FPD, oil metering lines, rats nest hoses, etc.

You can drive without boost but I would be hesitant since the coolant sensors are not working. At least get the coolant temp guage to work by replacing that one sensor so you do not overheat for any reason on the way home.
