color opinions please!
i have a 1993 montego blue base model FD. i have to replace a few of the intercooler couplings because they are old, not bad yet, but just a precaution. i wanna get a set of matching color silicon couplings, vacuum hoses and spark wires... but i'm not sure what color would be a nice engine compartment accent color with my body color. the montego blue will NEVER be replaced because i absolutely love it! i will be going with some polished intercooler pipes, y-pipe, etc. and a few other accent pieces in there too along with a cold air induction system with dual "cone-style" air filters (will try to match these to the color of the wires) and probably a tower brace. RED seems to the color most readilly available for ALL of these. lastly, i'm gonna remove my callipers, sand blast them, reassemble (cleaning and yadda yadda of course) them and coat them with high temp brake epoxy, again matching highlight color.
anyways, the point in this post was to see what people would recommend me going for... i'm at a loss right now.

I've got montego blue as well.
I still think I'm going to paint the calipers red. I like that look. Maybe polish off the raised lettering so it shines through silver?
But I don't think I'm going to try and match the coupler color. I think I"ll go with blue silicon couplers. Blue + polished everything, I think would look good in the engine compartment.
