Air Pump

I was wondering if there is anything special you need to do to take the air pump off other than just taking it off. Any pypass stuff, you know!

Thanks

Do a search on airpump removal.

There are simple routes and complicated, but more effective routes.

It will cause problems/clog up your stock cat if you are still running one. You will also need a differnet size belt. Your best bet is to search for Air Pump. You should find all the details pretty easily. Good luck.

The air pump is designed to help you pass your smog check every year by putting hotter air into the system for a cleaner burn - or so I've been told. So you might want to keep it unless you're going for a track only car with no cat!
