93 CYM R1 Rebuildable/Unrebuildable
I have a 93 CYM R1 Crashed right in the passenger door, quarter and fender. I want an awesome body shop I use to rebuild my car so I can keep it. I was just wondering how safe this thing will be after the rebuild? Even if everything lines up doesn’t mean its right. There’s a lot of fudging a body shop can do to make things line up if you know what I mean. I damn sure don’t want to find out if this thing holds together or if there is a major problem at speed!! These things don’t exactly have a giant roll cage under their skins either. They are quit thin and flimsy. So, I guess what I am wondering is abandon the CYM and find another chassis, or rebuild my CYM??

I do want to keep it! It has been a great car with (belive it or not) no real trouble. I have had the usual issues but nothing serious. It still has the original motor and only 59,xxx miles on it. I don't really have the time to baby sit this thing if I send it to a body shop, as I work long hours during the week. And as you know people are scarce on the weekends around shops! The title is rebuildable and the wheels are straight (at least they look straight!?)
Thanks for all the reply's! We have a go - thats a go for rebuild!!
