Engine mods: downpipe and exhaust

I recently replaced my turbo to exhaust manifold gasket to fix an exhaust leak and as I fix one problem, more come up

Before: I would start the car in first gear to avoid the 3000 rpm cold start procedure; rpm's would jump to 2000 and drop to a steady 800rpm idle as it warms up.

Now: Start the car in first gear, engine lazily starts at 800rpm and creeps up to 2000 rpm within 5 sec of starting; drops to an unsteady/weak 500-800rpm idle as it warms up. Sometimes stalls at lights when warm. Feels weak and doesn't want to rev up from idle, but runs strong above 2000rpm and in boost.

any ideas? I triple checked the vacuum lines and everything seems okay.

With the engine idling you could use the spray method to find a possible leak.

Seems like no one fully answered the brake line question so... When I replaced mine I bought a coil of 3/16th line from my local AutoZone (where I also rented a flaring tool at the same time). You'll want to keep the line nuts that go into the wheel cylinders on both sides. They are M10 x 1.25 for the SA's, and I had no luck finding replacements. The FB's switched to M10 x 1.0 which are much easier to find.
It takes a little while to bend the line all the way across, but I'd say the time is worth have some brakes . I worked from left to right if that helps anything.
