Ok guys I'm having Don Marvel of marvelspeed.com rebuild my engine and thought I would shop around and see if I can get the parts cheaper than he can...heck its worth a try I was looking at the kitb from Atkins Rotary and got really confused so here it goes:

Here is a list of what I am told is needed:
6 Apex seals (This I know comes in the kit B)
6 apex seal inner springs (there kit just says seal springs...) ?????
6 apex seal outer springs (there kit just says seal springs...) ?????
12 side seals (kit b)
12 side seal springs (I was told to get the 93-95 model of these)
12 corner seals (kit b)
12 corner seal springs (I was told to get the 93-95 model of these)
4 oil seal sets (not sure if this comes with the kit or not)
4 inner oil seal o rings and springs (not sure if it comes with the kit)
4 outer oil seal o rings and springs (not sure if it comes with the kit)
1 rear orange seal (not sure if it comes with the kit)
1 front cover seal (not sure if it comes with the kit)
1 overhaul gasket set (comes with the kit)
1 bac hose (not sure if it comes with the kit)
oil level sensor oil ring (not sure if it comes with the kit)

I was looking at the KitB from Atkins and I see that it includes the following:
Overhaul gasket set
Apex seal
Apex Seal Springs
Corner Seal Springs
Corner Seal Plug
Corner Seal
Side seal springs
Side seal
Oil control Ring Rubbers
Oil control Rings Metal
Front Main Seal
Rear Main seal
Pilot Bearing & Seal
Thermal Pellet Replacement
Hylomar sealant

So can you guys help clarify some of the questions I have here. For instance do the following items come with the kit:
4 oil seal sets
4 inner oil seal o rings and springs
4 outer oil seal o rings and springs
1 rear orange seal
1 front cover seal
1 oil level sensor oil ring

And if they do come with the kit and you tell me what is what so I can mark it off the list. I'm trying to compare the price I can get it for compared to what it will cost it he gets the parts for me.

BTW I also need these parts...no a good place to get them?
1 upper radiator hose
1 lower radiator hose
1 long heater hose
1 lower turbo water hose
1 water hose from back housing to thermo wax valve
1 clutch disk

4 oil seal sets = ATKINS Oil control Rings Metal
4 inner oil seal o rings = ATKINS Oil control Ring Rubbers
4 outer oil seal o rings = ATKINS Oil control Ring Rubbers
1 rear orange seal = ATKINS Rear Main seal
1 front cover seal = ATKINS Front Main Seal


So if you get the Atkins kit you are describing, you will still be short a set of oil control ring springs (4 inner, 4 outer) and 1 oil level sensor oil ring.

However, you should be able to reuse your oil control ring springs again, unless they are in really sad shape or don't meet the Mazda specs for assemply clearance. And I wasn't aware there was a "oil level sensor oil ring" to replace...
