Hiya chaps

i have just been offered a WOLF ecu - but im not sure what model it is - so can you chaps help ??

i THINK its a Wolf 3D V3 - but not sure

ideally i wanted a V4 simply due to not having to mess with the CAS

if i was to fit this to my car ( Is a JDM S5 Cab TII Auto ) would i beable to do it being a complete newbie at this ??

in a nut shell - if i was to fit this to my car - would i have to make any more apart from the CAS - or is there a lot more to it

i have read about the first 6 pages of the WOLF forum - and still not 100% sure what im doing with it ( if i buy it )

it seems pretty cheap - but not sure - its £100 so thats about $190 ish

Yep thats a 3.X version of it.

If you take the lis off (4 screws) there is a designation on the chip usually. like 3.1 or 3.4 or something.

 

is there any difference between the 3.1 and 3.4 etc..

still not sure if im buying it or not though - will have a nosey around the wolf site and see what i can find

Just the firmware revision. But honestly I cant remember what changed were made back then.

I remember the 3.0 had a stutter around... 4000? or 4800?? where it would just make a little sputter. From 3.0 to 3.1? Or 3.4? Not sure they corrected that. I think it was 3.0 to 3.1.

My 3.x did it when new, but it was updated a LOOONG time ago and it stopped doing that.

 

There should be a tag on the back that shows the ver. number.
Its a 3.?
