Hi Mikerx784 their is basically 2 types a stand alone unit that comes with a harness and a Plugin that plug directly into your harness. Some of the people here have Plugins and some have stand alones. Both need to tuned to some extent the stand alone comes dumb and the plugin has a basic map to start you off. Some of the plugin guys may already have tuned maps for a engine close to yours just post your specs first and see what happens.

There are two different kinds of the Wolf, there is the generic wire-in type and the plug-and-play type.

If you get the plug-and-play type you don't have to worry about wiring in a harness because it is a direct plug-in replacement for the factory computer. This being said it does not mean that it is 100% tuned to your particular car, it just means that it is setup and calibrated for stock parts. You will need to make sure the fuel maps are correct and do a bit of tuning yourself.

If you get the generic wire-in then it will require wiring the entire harness, and then calibrating the unit for your car, and then creating maps to run it.
