well on boosted cars, especially high boost cars, i've seen people use the reverse curve that you are using.

for idle I use 5 degrees split as that helped pull a better vaccum when i was messing with split, as compared to 10+ degrees.

I've heard from ito and have seen in other tuners maps that the split increases to 12+ and as much as 16 degrees split in the mid to upper rpms when using high boost, to avoid any type of flame-front collisions

I run basically stock split at idle (15 deg). Split in the cruise range is pretty low (5 deg). Under boost it ramps up to 15 deg split by 20 psi.

how the heck did i post that map???? i am running 8 deg split till 4500 9 till 5000 and 10 above five....

that table using some guidlines which dont make sense..

so i think my setup is good not that!!

sooo hard to read in xl, whats up with a real .wmf file? dont want to spoil your map? then add your split to your zero map and post it!

with the various dyno runs ive done, ive seen most power (car dependant) between 8-12 degrees of split.

in fact i run 8 till about 4500 then up to ten...

is it true that the closer the split the better the power, but worst on emmisions?

depends on the engine

i saw most power with 10 split
