A week from today I will be in Phoenix for about a month on business. Any car shows are anything special to check out while I am there?

lol sorry didnt see this before, last night (saturday) you could have gone to pavillions, its a big car show that goes on every saturday.

Lol, in what part of phoenix are you staying at? Pavillions its every saturday. and the next drift and drag event should be on the 22nd or 23rd at firebird

 

I am staying in Luke. :O I have to make it out for the Drift event. Pavillions is a mall right?

 

Its not exactly a mall, its more like a big shopping plaza cause i doubt they have home depots at the malls lol. Its on scottsdale, indian bend and the 101 n

There is also another somewhat meet ive heard of on friday nights on the west side. I think its on 99av and indian school, or is it 105av? lol somewhere around there!!! and there was another one on mcdowell around those same avs too. I just been out of the underground meets. Pavillions its a huge one, depending how sunny the day is you will see muscle cars, beautiful classics, exotics, bunch of modified tunners, bikes etc etc lol

 

Thanks again. I checked out the Firebird site and it's the 23rd. Going to rent a car that weekend and go spend the night watching the events. It is freaking hot as hell here.

Yeah I'm sure i'll get a nice tan. I've seen a few FDs now and just saw a red s5 parked on base so I'm glad there is a living rotary community here.

 

Few FDs? damn you are lucky lol. Its really hard to see them around specially since must dont have A/C But yea, theres is quite rotars around. Myself and a few others are trying to get this community unite and grow as much as possible

I have seen 3 red FDs and 1 red FC. 3 were on base so I assume they are military.

 

Are 2 of those 3 red FDs you ve seen 1 with clean *** paint and black/chrome meister wheels
and the other one with stock blacked out wheels?

 

one had all black wheels but it was moving so i can't say what wheels and the other had set lights and grey rpf1s.

 

HHmmm.... I guess theres more red FDs around lol

Anything wise... My second weekend in AZ since I semi relocated here. I usually fly back to LA on the weekends.

 

So are you going to stay here for awhile? must be nice to be able to fly to LA every weekend tho lol

Yikes, didn't even realize this weekend is the drift event.
I'm saving for tires for next months event on aug. 27th

I'll still go as a spectator though.

July 31st is Vegas Pro Am. Some of the drifters are heading up there to party and crash cars.

 

I'll be at the track saturday and might go to the meet after depending on what time the drifting ends.

 

I'll be in Vegas that weekend but at the strip that has vodka.

 

How come you are saving for next month's and not driving this month's?


If you are talking about hitting pavs after the event, i wouldnt recommend it. Usually everyone stays at those events late night and cops at pavs start kicking people out after10:30p
