Hey people, please stop sending me these PM's with nasty comments. I don't know who you guys are, but those of you who do not reside here in San Diego, please do not get involved in this matter. This does not affect you guys in other cities. Look, the person who called me a jerk, you just need to stop. You guys are acting like little children over this. As i said in my last posting, I NEVER meant for this to stir up a bees nest/open Pandora’s box. Yes I’ll admit, i have never run a club before in my life nor am i trying to now. So i guess i handled myself wrong when trying to do something different to help others. It appears that i have made a few enemies here. Guys, i am not upset at anyone for speaking there opinions about what happened or what i did. The only thing i wish would have happened differently in this matter is that all of you guys and gals who are speaking your feelings now, would have done so at the meeting. Then non of this would have gotten so nasty and out of hand. So lets stop acting like children and act like adults who like rotaries, and just forget about what i attempted to do last week, and move on. :) I have no enemies here. I like to get along with everyone as i did before last weekend. And to the guy who made the comment to me about my best friend being much younger than me, stay out of my business. Yes, Daniel is a bit younger than me. He is 25 years old for those of you who don't know that. But he is just as much as a best friend as i am to him. We have so much in common, we both own RX-7's, when my son past away, he saved me from committing suicide. If it wasn't for him, i would not be here today. He and his family who are like a second family to me, helped me pull through my cancer ordeal. NO ONE was there for me during that very tough time in my life. So don't go around talking shit about the age difference, because to us, that is not even an issue nor is it a problem. Those of you who get into he or i's business, will no longer be friends of mine. Thanks for all of your understanding in this.

Jim, sorry to hear about the problems. i dont know what happened, but all i have to say is that you are one of the nicest/most dedicated rotary owners ive met. and have been nothing but friendly, even to the newbies(me).

Where they PM'ing you about smog hookups? If so...please tell them f*ck off and PM Wackyracer.

i think your a great guy. i think you had everyones best interest at heart and as i have said many times there is no need for anyone to be angry or hate on you for trying to help out some people with a scheduling conflict that we may not have known about. as i also have said i believe i was the only one that spoke up at the meet (of course this is a moot point)

i stand by my statement i think that what is best for the entire group is what should happen with the meets. i prefer saturdays. if the meets are on sundays i dont believe i will be able to make it but if that allows other people to go then so be it thats what is better for the group.

i am truely sorry for some of the childish people of this forum lashing out at you.

I am in San Diego although I am not involved in this. I don't think I have met you but after reading your post you sound like a good guy. Don't let assholes get to you. I am not active in any so cal clubs for that reason. Too many jerks in SoCal.

1. Never put his/her name on the list for meets or events
2. Show up to the meets but introduce themselves by there real name not forum name...
3. Act like there real cool down to earth people when in reality there shit talking pussy's...

That's about 50% of the people that go to the meets right there. We're narrowing it down. :suspect: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I never put my name on the list for events because I can't ever be sure that I'm really going to be able to make it. :dunno:

I've only met one person that has shown up to the meet and only used their forum name. :suspect:

We're all cool down to earth people at the meets (except Michael and Shawn....those guys are a-holes :biggrin: ) and I haven't met but a few people that don't talk shite once on the "internets". Unfortunately, that's just the way the internets works.


I had quite a long conversation with Jim last weekend on the subject of what happened at last months meeting. I know Jim and I know that he meant no harm. Jim is a really good guy and really did have the best intentions of the club at hand. I'll admit that the delivery was a little bit off but I've known Jim long enough to know what he meant (no ill harm to the group). To me personally, I don't care if it's Saturday or Sunday. Saturday would be nice but I'm flexible enough to be able to do the Saturday/Sunday so that we can allow more rotorheads (and pistonheads) meet up with other fellow enthusiasts. Not such a bad thing IMO. I'm glad that Shwan put together a poll so that hopefully we can bring this to a close and everbody can have their say even if they can't physically attend a meet to raise their hand.
