Thank you for standing the watch! Request completed. However, you need some posts under your profile in order for the banner to appear. If it still doesn't show then shoot me a PM, please.
Make an introduction thread in the New Member Intro section. If you have a pic of your car to share then that is a good place to post it too. Before you know it, your post count will steadily increase. Welcome to the forum as a new member!

please add a banner to my profile Trying ro take a funny photo whilst deployed to bagram Afghanistan
no, wasn't a "war trophy"... though had I known how the custom's inspection was going to go just before our return trip, I have no doubt I could have brought it back... with regards to "trophies", they did give us a list of items we were permitted to bring back with us... I do recall Iraqi bayonet being on that list and some flags or something... it was many years ago! hahaha
i did have the AK after getting it out of a "storage" room when we had to work with ICDC - you know, to be familiar with enemy weapons and have some hands on knowledge... and then hung onto it for most of deployment. Sqd leader didn't care... =D

Nice looking AK you have there. Was that slightly used and only dropped once? Did you make it a bring-back war trophy?
Unless I am mistaken, the whole war prize thing ended between the Korean War and the passage of the Gun Control Act (GCA) of 1968. I also suspect the Hughes Amendment (to the GCA) prevents any new ownership of NFA firearms post 1 Jul 1986, to include war trophies.
First, welcome to the forum! Second, I completed your request. Third, the banner will not show up until you have at least 1 post. This happened to another new member. I strongly encourage you to start a thread in the New Member Introduction section. If your banner does not appear shortly after the first (or maybe second) post then please send me a PM.
Finally, thank you for serving our country, Soldier! Hooah!
