Is this email verification a scam or legit? It’s on the top of the page and is annoying.

 

I'll defer to the moderators for your answer, but context of when & how you received that message could matter - Did that message appear after you logged on to the forum with your normal username & password, or did you just receive it randomly in your email inbox or as a text message? If it was the latter, I'd be suspicious of it being a phish.

 

yes it's legit, not sure why you would dox your own email address like that though.

 

at least its a picture, bots won't be able to scan it and add it to their database.

 

your email is everywhere, just like your license plate! They have been sold thousands of times every year.
