New Marketplace Feedback here please!
1. Don't delete pics after a thread is sold/closed. Sometimes pictures are helpful
2. Allow the seller to edit their sale post. It's their sale and they should have the ability to edit their post
2. Allow the seller to edit their sale post. It's their sale and they should have the ability to edit their post
When will the archived sales threads be returned/accessible? As it is, over 15 years of my own sales history has been erased with zero ability for people to reference previously sold parts, history, and more importantly, the valuable information associated with it. This type of parts sales cleansing happened around 12 years ago -- that was disappointing but bearable. I don't particularly like the new marketplace, but I can deal with it. Realistically, I didn't really see anything wrong with the old way. Just looking at the overall decrease in people's replies to people's sales threads and IMO decreased sales overall is an easy indicator that the new marketplace isn't as effective. I've sold nearly $100K in rx7 parts on the forums over the last 17 years and that data is currently gone and a complete loss for the community.
thank you for reporting this. it was a conflict with the tenured member usergroups and my test account had none of them applied, so we missed this. Resolved and you can see the archives at the bottom of the forum index again. my apologies for this!
Shouldn't we have the option to delete our post on marketplace after we sold it or to remove it if we changed our mind about selling it? Or then again the option to edit our marketplace post at any time? Me for example i posted my personal email in a couple of my marketplace post's and i would love to edit it out but can't!
You can always mark a listing you created as sold. Editing is limited to a 24 hour window after you posted. You can use the triangle 'report post' icon to submit and request edits after that time period. For the posts you'd like personal information removed from, please use the report post button and the community team will take care if it for you.
Hello,
I've been on the forum for a few years as it is simply the best source of information for RX7's I've found. Helped to keep mine happily on the road.
I've owned a 1991 for several years and now it's time to let it go to someone who will appreciate it. Unfortunately, the 5 posts are slowing things down, any chance I can get a pass?
Should be #2 now, apologies for heavy sales aspect. Still if you want to sell an RX7, here is where you find those that appreciate them.

I recently realized why we shouldn't do this. Since we sell things, our price at launch isn't necessarily going to be the price forever. Although the thread can be updated saying the price will be increasing, you can't rely on people to just see that among however many posts there may or may not be.
It should just be referenced to the website that way pricing is always accurate. Mistakes are important so long as you acknowledge and learn from them 😕. So that exemption is important.
