That classified section has been closed. That's why im asking about the "New Market Place".
So far im not really impressed with it, not very good for just browsing around.
Have a 20B to list. Where do i put it and do i just list it on all 3 gens listings? Seems like more work and I don't want to do it that way and clog/bump other peoples listing down. Still think it needs Race, 20B, Old School, and Wanted sections...I like race parts have a 20B and RX-4.

The new market place is to shallow? You dont get the same categories now as before?

From a user experience design perspective, what has been done is to apply a very generic «car marketplace» template to it. Where as the old was set up in categories that made sense to a rotary community, thos does not.

20b engines is one example. You cant choose it as a category. Its either:
- search for anything mentioning «20b»
- generic engine category

I think making the marketplace more customized towards rotaries is one option.

like adding categories for 20b, old school, drag?

Generic indeed. I like the old way better, more categories that made sense.
I liked that the icon lit up when a new post happened in a category. Old way was much faster, better to browse instead of typing and scrolling. Had more post per page, if i wanted to see a picture id click on the listing. At least bring back the Race, 20B, Old School, and Wanted sections in the New Market Place.

I'll send your requests up the chain. I do know that I've received more than a few pm's complaining about the new marketplace. The intent was to make things easier and cleaner, though I know many of us prefer the original classifieds section.

I admit, it turned out pretty bad IMHO.

I noticed that the listings seem down as well. I find it difficult to navigate and is quite generic as well.

FWIW, I deigned a site and went through a few changes, in the end, it's about user experience.
