I feel you guys. I've been a longtime member, but have never posted. Never had anything to really contribute that hadn't already been posted before. I've bought multiple parts via PM with people selling that have gone flawlessly. Although I understand the reasoning, it was a bummer when the site changed the rules with the mandatory post counts to include individuals who have been members for years.

 

It's equally frustrating for someone like me who is trying to research FD prices and start planning what route I'd like to go with purchasing one. I don't need to be able to post in the classifieds yet, but I can't even browse through them without getting the minimum posts. I'd just like to see prices, but can't do that until I get to the minimum posts. And since I don't have an FD, there's not much I can contribute elsewhere.

 

I came here for the same thing, to research buying a shell.

this thread is dragging on and the question has been answered thru many threads and posting in them is not how u should increase post counts, and is now closed. please read the stickies at the top of this section and the FAQ's.

the min post count has been changed to only 2.
