GB#2: Dual Oil Cooler Kits - SakeBomb Garage
SakeBomb Garage is once again proud to present: The best damn twin oil cooler kits available!! **$150.00 GB discount** (Expires May 20th) Spring is in the air... the snow has melted, flowers are blooming, animals are ;)'ing ... and, oh yeah, your FD is STILL overheating :uhh:  As summer is fast approaching, there's no better time than now to stop excessive heat in its tracks with the infamous, best performing, highest quality, dual oil cooler kit for the FD from here to Tokyo. Whether for your every day street car, or your baddest 500+HP track-only monster, we have an amazing twin oil cooler setup that will keep your temps in check. :icon_tup: What you can expect from our oil cooler kits:
All of our kits include:
OPTIONS? Comes with twin 19-row Setrab coolers, High-Pressure Black rubber hose (OEM look) with high quality black and silver Mocal end fittings pre-installed. Included with every kit is a -10AN aluminum spanner (wrench) to safely tighten the aluminum fittings without damaging them. Everything you need to install the coolers on your car is included, down to every last nut, bolt, washer, or spacer... and even the wrench! (*As our brackets are designed to accept both 19-row or 25-row coolers, they can be upgraded to the larger capacity coolers at any time!) http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/w...0Shots/4-2.jpg Coolers Street Kit (Base Kit) $1080 Track Kit + $175 Upgrade to 25-row Setrab cores. Even higher cooling capacity then our twin 19 row kit. We have reports of customers staying out ALL DAY at the track without any sign of rising temps! This setup really is cool! Don’t cut your track day short. Also 20b and high-HP 13b's should consider this setup. Fitment ‘99 Spec/Aftermarket Bumper + $130 Line Upgrades Stainless Steel Braided Lines + $70 Highest pressure and temp rating of all the lines we offer (and they look great!) but care must be taken when routing them as the SS braids can wear into anything they come in contact with.Nylon Braided Lightweight Racing Lines + $120 Black Nylon reinforced lines, ultra lightweight, high pressure and temp rating (and they look great!). These nylon lines have the benefits of braided reinforcement (like SS lines) but without the abrasion problems and lack of flexibility associated with SS lines. http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/w...t/IMG_3095.jpg http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/w...t/IMG_3094.jpg *A note about the 99 oil cooler upgrade, and about aftermarket bumpers. Cost: Unfortunately, the ‘99 coolers needed to be repositioned for the 99 bumper and rebar, and special fittings were required to then clear the headlights. In addition there is a more complex bracket setup required to relocate it to the proper position. For this reason the price of the 99 kit is significantly higher. This is directly due to the cost of the extra parts... we actually take a loss on the 99 “upgrade” for this reason, but it was the only way to make them fit the 99 bumper, be positioned to make more efficient use of the larger bumper inlets, and also work with the stock 99 fog lights. Aftermarket bumpers: We also engineered a small amount of adjustability into the brackets in hopes that people with aftermarket bumpers could adjust the position of the oil coolers to work with their bumper. We obviously could not test the coolers with every aftermarket bumper out there (so we cant guarantee 100% that they will fit without modification) but more than likely, there is enough adjustability to fit the majority of aftermarket bumpers out there. You have an even better chance if your bumper uses the 99 lights or similar, as those bumpers were typically designed to work with the stock 99 cars’ oil cooler setup (which is basically how ours fits). |

**GB Instructions**
**GB Instructions** Please add your forum username, shipping zip-code, and any kit options you want to the list below. Deposit: Please send a $50.00 deposit to hold your spot in the GB. At the end of the GB (May 20th) final payment must be submitted. OR Payment in Full: If you are ready to make your complete payment, we must first calculate your shipping cost. We'll list a shipping charge next to your name, based on your zip. Please add this to your total. In the future we hope to automate this process but for now we have to do it the old fashioned way :gwink: How to make a payment: PayPal normally charges us a 3% fee for using their services... Lame. Instead of simply adding 3% onto every kit (in the form of inflated product pricing) we give our customers the option of avoiding this charge by using the $5 flat-fee e-check option. To avoid this charge, please submit payment as an 'e-check'. If you need help with this method please PM scrub If you choose to submit payment using standard paypal, please add 3% to your totalto your payment. Example: E-Check: Total = $5 + Kit Price + Shipping Standard PayPal: Total = .03 * (Kit Price + Shipping) PayPal - sakebombgarage@gmail.com **If you plan on paying later next month, please move your name later down the list or to the next block. As we must process orders in blocks of 5 to honor the GB discount, we can not process the block until everyone in that block has paid in full. This means that if you need to wait an extended amount to pay, you may hold up others who have already paid from getting their kits. ** Block 1 ex RotorMotor, 94609. (Track, 99-spec, Nylon) - Shipping Cost $30 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Block 2 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. |

I only plan to daily drive and autocross my car once a month. Would the 25 row coolers still be a must? Car should be putting out around 350hp when all the parts are installed n sorted out.

The only way to get the E-Check as an option anymore is to delete your "backup funds source" from your account, HOWEVER doing this also makes your status "unconfirmed" rather than "confirmed" like it used to be. I found this info here: https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/...36E89281E42852 Looks like, for most, the E-check will not be available. So make sure to add 3% to the final cost when sending payment. |
Could we also get a shot of how the lines are routed? I want to make sure this will clear my HKS Vmount system because it has ducting. Thanks.
Waiting on total to send payment. |
ok then im gonna stick with the standard lines i like them better for my needs. and my shipping is 72023 so i guess ill do the PP after i get a final price if thats true about the e-check although im tempted to try the loading funds to do the e-check.
