We've done it again. We pREsent to you our new RX-7 FD3S 3rd Gen RX-7 INTERIOR Door Pull Handles in 100% Aluminum! Following up on our highly successful Exterior Handles, we knew that the interior pull cups are prone to cracking as well. After all...these parts are well over 20+ years old.

With our replacement FD3S Aluminum Interior door handles, they will now last as long as you own the car. Just check out the pictures to the left. The Aluminum Door handles are sold in pairs, we would like FD owners to replace both, so they match. Replacement is super easy, just remove the screw cover plate, unscrew, and gently pry your old plastic door pull handles out. The only piece you will have to reuse is the screw cover plate for both sides, as ours do not come with them. Installation should take no more than 10 mins per side, even if you'RE taking your time.

A great way to upgrade the interior of your RX-7, the door handles feel great when you close your doors! Some of the guys on here already jumped on a set last week during the introduction. Comments are appreciated.

Just what I needed! Ordered a set plus the exterior handle set. Thanks!

Thank you Patrick!! Please comment on the product when it's received and installed.

how are the fitment if you don't mind me asking?

Rotary13B1com 11-28-16 10:49 AM

Kensin, fitment is spot on. They're produced from brand new OEM stock pieces. = )

Here are come comments by real people on FB:

Sean M. - They are amazingly well built and they look cool as hell. I can't wait to install them. One more part that will never break on my interior. Winning!

Jehan P. - I installed mine the other day. What a difference! The tabs under the cast aluminum are slight different from the oem unit and actually hug the door lock mechanism tighter, resulting in a tighter and more sturdier feel. These things need more visibility in the market - I don't think enough people know about them.

FourtyOunce 11-28-16 11:52 AM

Is the $125 pricing valid for Cyber Monday? I've already bought one set previously, but would like to get another. BTW, this is Jehan P. :)

Perfect timing, my driver side cup is cracked, can't wait to replace them with these so I don't have to lower the window to close my door.

streetxtreme 04-28-20 01:33 AM

Is the coupon code still valid?

Any plans to make RHD versions?

ZacMan 04-12-21 03:18 AM

Would just like to re-up mr2peak's question, I'd be super interested in RHD versions.

driverx 11-22-21 10:56 PM

What are the chances you guys might offer the driver's side door pocket and lid (or just the lid even) in aluminum? I'd buy these in a heartbeat if I could buy them with that!

ABFD3 11-25-21 04:57 PM

I'd like to pile onto Mr2Speak's question about a RHD version. I hope you decide to offer it. Looks like a good product I'd definitely buy if you made it.

To piggyback on these guys, an RHD version would be great. I'd love a set.

Need some help installing these.
The tabs on the cup that clip around the door lock mechanism cannot expand and
clip in like the plastic part so we cannot get the cup to seat properly.
There must be some install trick we are missing.

evo_koa 05-19-23 03:59 PM

They haven't logged in here in over 6 years. Post number five talks about the clip issue that you have.

You need to file down the inside of the clips. If you look closely you can see they already have done that but not quite enough in some cases. While these are awesome and really make the door much more solid to pull on, their design did not take into consideration the flex of the plastic that those clips are designed to lock in with as you mentioned.

Just use a flat file and file down the inside of them a bit more.

all4fuun 05-24-23 05:56 PM

Thats exactly what we did, we used a dremel to widen in between the clips till they snapped into place.

Anyone sell RHD versions of this? I need a pair
