T-5 Question?

I have an 84 and am getting a T-5 put together for me, and the guy asked if the angle it sits at would bother me… truthfully I have no clue what the angle a transmission would sit at would change for me.

Secondly I was curious if any cutting to the OEM shift hole was needed for a T-5, Thanks!

my t5. 1980 w 350. You’ll need to cut a little more hole toward the back, but it fits. The tranny leans a little toward the driver

I made an adapter plate to mount a T5 to an old school SBC bell housing so the shifter was straight up and down. I offset the shifter so I didnt have to cut the body panel and even use the factory Rx7 shift boot and ****, it ended up looking pretty nice in the end.
