Man some of you guys have crazy shit going on.... the orange and blue FD above are insane.
Anyway here's my pile. Pretty plain and simple ;) Most of the norotors guys have seen it already. Buttonwillow Feb 2012 driver's clinic, had a great time. Kinda gay how the camera angle makes the car look like it's leaning more than it actually is, whatever. https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...1&d=1346811044 This was after a skidpad event at El Toro airfield in So. CA. That's why the car is so filthy hehe. https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...1&d=1346811047 |
I want a V8 in my FC. :( Maybe once I'm done college, aha. Cars are looking great.
R71, is that the 6.1L from an SRT8? |

A big NO! for me on missing the rotary. Love everything about the LSx platform...power, sound, drivability, easy to work on, endless engine combo's, etc...
Although i dont have an LS FD. I own an LS2 car. I love the LS powerplant but also I love the way my FD feels. I can just imagine combining both is basically perfection. |
heres my box....

Shineauto makes those. KDII or something, just look in the vendors. I have the same front fenders/bumper, except i have the pettit rear fender. |
Must be a LSx FD thing cause I have those fenders as well.

I open the hood so infrequently and worry so little about the engine I never take pics of it! |

Questions for the fc v8 swapped owners. What kind of rear diffs are you guys using? Is it necessary to upgrade the stock lsd?
|
Most people just run the stock turbo2 diff on the fc and of course the stock Torsen on the fd. If you set it up for drag racing, most put in a solid rear end.
Ronin makes a swap kit to put the cobra 8.8 IRS diff in the fc, which gives you a lot of options for aftermarket diffs, and ratios. |

First off, excuse the sleepy eyes. They were like that due to my HID retrofits. That has since been fixed so they're up at full height now.
Always a work in progress. Right now it just needs to be tuned and a few other little things. Alas, it's about winter, so I won't be driving it until next year. Attachment 693735 Attachment 693736 Attachment 693737 Attachment 693738 Attachment 693739 Attachment 693740 Attachment 693741 |

Can't wait to see the new car Austin. You'll have to make it down to VIR next year.
|
Everyone has probably seen the car. Its that red touring with the 5.3/4l60e that was bouncing around the last few months. Got it soo cheap, i couldnt pass it up. Im gonna swap a t56 into it and put some nice tires on it and get out on track. Dan(scrub) took me for a ride at the Carlisi meet and i had a blast. Cant wait!!!!
