only 124MPH? I guess I'm still the trapspeed king :P (133)

NICE ET..

How big are those tires?

I wish I could get my car out of the hole like that....
Those supra wheels? hehe, that's what I'm running out back.

Racegas is usually $70 for a 5 gal drum here in canada... so I'd guess he's not getting a full tank at that price.

J-Rat 11-20-06 09:40 AM

Yeah, I only trapped 124 cause I couldnt get the damn car into 4th gear..

cool_as_crap 11-20-06 01:10 PM

nice runs :icon_tup:

junito1 11-20-06 02:53 PM

bad/broken synchros? new tranny?

get that tranny built to handle 490+ whp abuse.

i only have 215 to the wheels and already destroyed a tranny..... stuck in 5th gear. I drove home witht he tranny stuck in 5th. Man was that crap hard... i probably destroyed my clutch since it stunk so bad every time i had to go from a dead stop.

BUT ITS POSSIBLE!!!

coltboostin 11-20-06 08:51 PM

Like to see the video, but nice runs.

What octane gas? I am guessing C16 or better? Also what tires (since I cant see the video). Also, is your car full weight?

You passes give me hope to achive one of my goals to run 10's on pump gas an street tires-good man!

J-Rat 11-20-06 09:25 PM

trying to find another host..

No_Rotor_RX7 11-20-06 09:45 PM

hell yea J, please tell me your car is full weight :) that will just make this that much better!

Sideways7 11-20-06 11:54 PM

Slap it up on streetfire or youtube. At least it'll work until you can find a good host. I can't wait to see the runs.

I got the premium AAA membership after I bought my T2 ($79 for a year with 100 miles free towing) and it's already paid for itself twice. Don't try to limp a car home like that unless absolutely necessary.

J-Rat 11-21-06 03:00 AM

Again, I was using C-16. Not because I felt I needed it with the alchohol injection, but because its cheap insurance against anything that might go wrong... The car weighs in at 3000 lb.

I get towing and roadside assistance for like 1 or 2 bucks a month. Thank God for USAA.

Cosmo_TT 11-21-06 03:56 PM

damn i wish i could see the vid good stuff j-rat
do you think 4th gear was bad enough to keep you out of 10's or just to keep you out of 11.0's

No_Rotor_RX7 11-21-06 06:21 PM

according to how much momentum he had to throw up to 125mph without 4th... i'd easily say that with 4th he will no doubt be in the 10's at the high 120's... maybe even right at 130mph. :)

and 3000lbs... this is bliss! hahahaha suck on it turbo honda hatchbacks! (sorry, personal vendetta here in NC lol!)

Sideways7 11-21-06 10:50 PM

My dad actually drove our poor 4-cyl van back home when it was stuck in 4th gear. That was pretty crazy.
And yes, we had a manual van.

Whats done to it?

It was a rebuild with about 15-20k on it, large street port, turbo rotor housings with ported exhaust and RB header/presilencer to Apex N1 single. Unfortunately it died of a freak occurance (no idea what) that carboned the front rotor to the point where all of the seals were stuck. I'm saving for a rebuild at the moment.
Anyway, back to j-rats vid, sorry for the threadjack.
