FC 280rwhp

I'm making 280rwhp on 11PSI. RX7 Series 5 13Bturbo street port. Standard turbo, standard injectors, 3inch exhaust, front mount inter-cooler, microtech LT8s ECU. Boost controller is a turbosmart E-boost Street.

Engine isnt running lean as AFR starts at 13.5 and with WOT go to 11.

I was really stocked with these results. Was tuned on the Gold Coast here in Queensland, Australia by Dyson Rotary.

No idea on timing. I blew my previous 13B turbo so I bought the long motor of a mate and put it my car. Did all the work on it myself then towed for the shop to tune it.

Well that beats the **** out of all the stock turbo records as far as I know. Stock fuel pump too? What was the injector duty cycle?

a guy I met at a meet claims to have run 303whp on the stocker.....it lasted 2 weeks lol.

I'm interested in the injectors used though, cause 550's struggle to keep up at lesser HP #'s.....

Nah fuel pump is just a walbro intank replacement. Injectors he said he was able to get them to open at 9ms, it think its close to 100%. Nice safe AFR though so i should be right.

I will however be keeping an eye on things.

I wouldn't trust the 550's to run at 100% for long.

I've got plenty of them, haha. If they fail it just means time to upgrade

or a blown engine

but yeah, 280 isn't bad at all... I made 270 on my BNR stage 2 hybrid @ 12 psi, but I'm still running the stock top mount... I need to get around to swapping that out

Thanks. Yeah I'm changing them. I've got 2 1600's and 2 1000's to put in. Need money for big turbo though. Looking at going gt42 or t04z. I want around the 450-500 RWHP.

sounds like a gt35r would be good for you then. they work amazingly on a 13b, especially with a streetport.
