395rwhp & 314 ft/lbs - sequential?

She's an FC so I guess I should post up here as well. Was having some issues with her holding boost to redline. When running non sequential about a month prior we made 405/323:egrin:

Going back in a few weeks with new injectors/coils and looking to break 400 sequential. I see no problem doing it if we can keep the boost up there.

Details
13B-RE - I rebuilt and ported it - mild streetport, EP2 Pineapple exhaust port.
STOCK STOCK BONE STOCK REW sequentials - no porting save the WG, no polishing, no tricks, just ceramic coated
Marren 750/1000 injectors (getting replaced with ID725/ID2000 tomorrow actually)
Denso Stupra pump, getting replaced with Bosch 044
D580 LS1 coils, getting replaced tomorrow as well with some Bosch coils
MoTeC M820 ECU, AIM dash.

Dyno'ed and tuned @ KDR Performance.

Great numbers, Congrats !

its been a while in the making.

FD3S_wanted 03-28-10 10:27 PM

Very nice!

It was with FD twins, not 13B-RE twins right?

h_turbo 03-29-10 01:45 PM

Very good and solid numbers, specially with the mods done. Keep up the great work.

Correct, REW twins, 15psi, falling off to ~12 at redline. More in the engine if I can keep the boost up there.

hey mate welcome back :) good results. whats holding up the sequential transition ?

lol my RE is still in the works lol

junito1 03-30-10 07:35 PM

Explain the no bolt on's thing you got going on. What's the car for?

TitaniumTT 03-30-10 08:41 PM

All of the parts that I've seen/bought/touched/dealt with for the FC suck. They're mostly cheap ass knock-offs made to cater to the less than pathetic budgets that the little highschoolers that own FC's have to deal with. So I build my own parts. There is not one "performance part" on my car that I didn't build myself...... I take that back, I bought two generic K&N cone filters for my turbo's, but I built my own intake piping.

in the order they appeared in a search

Best post ever.

Flash 03-31-10 10:11 PM

Whoa, looks like an angry mud-pile is about to swallow your car in the last pic. Still love the car!

therotaryrocket 04-01-10 02:14 AM

dude your car is sweet and I love the mods. I too would like to make a lot more of my own parts, I always want too, but don't have the money, time, or tools (as you mentioned most of us school kids get cheap bolt ons). That hood is sweet, is that fiberglass?

TitaniumTT 04-02-10 08:35 AM

Thanks guys

Hood started life as a sotck AL hood, can't weld fiberglass like that. Took maybe 30ish hours to build the first.

junito1 04-02-10 04:38 PM

Nice translation of "bolt on's"

You forgot to add the shineauto front bumper along with the kn filters. =P I have the same one

Either way I like the route you took. Car looks great.

TitaniumTT 04-02-10 06:57 PM

Thanks, FWIW the shine bumper was modied :p I reenforced alot of it, trimed the lower outer ducts and re-did them to duct up with the mocal oil-coolers..... so even that was modified. I really thing the only thing that I took out of the box and bolted onto the car were the K&N's but I built my own TID's from scratch.

MaczPayne 04-06-10 04:08 PM

Brian's back :) Noobs beware!
