My 1987 Mazda rx7
Went to the last track day here in Idaho.
I didn't have a helmet so I could only race once(13.99 or quicker requires a helmet)
Rebuilt by Myself, very slight porting, smaller than a simple street port. (no templates so I didn't want to ruin anything)
Ported wastegate to around 30mm, with an additional washer as a flapper door.
3" downpipe, to dual 2.5" borla proxs mufflers
Voodoo mbc, set at 10psi (spike to 11-12, settled to 9-10 every gear)
Hitachi turbo
rtek 2.1 with no tune (stock setting)
Street tires

I have a bad tranny, but I'm happy with the numbers nonetheless.

 

pretty solid time for minimal mods. Any vids? more or less just curious what the exhaust sounds like.

No videos, friends that say will go never did. I'll post a vid of the exhaust sometime next week, I like the sound, just need 1 more resonator to make it neighbor friendly.
