My FD's first time to the strip

So I finally got my car to the strip for the first time. My 93 with stock twins once made 359 whp @ 14 psi when it was built in 08. The motor now runs low eighties for compression but still hot starts great so I have just been waiting on the rebuild. My best run was a 12.3 @ 112 mph with a 1.92 60 ft. I was running et streets but I would either bog or spin. I think I ran to much pressure I only dropped them down to 25 psi. I think with some driver mods it will go high elevens. The one thing that seemed strange was I made 7 different passes ranging from 13.8 to 12.3 and every pass the car trapped 112 mph.

A consistent trap speed is nothing strange. ET is affected greatly by the quality of launch and shifts so it's more a measure of the driver. Trap speed is more a measure of the car.

Definitely need to work on the 60', if you have a manual car you'll need to find the right amount of modulation/slip early on the clutch so that you get the best 60'. That will effect your times the greatest. Practice makes perfect really applies
