time for all new suspension goodies, need help though

alrighty its time for my garbage ass stock crap to come off the FD. all suspension as of right now is stock, minus a cusco strut bar. here is what i want to do but its always wise to get some insight from the veteran crowd.
i have 6 pillowball mounts for the rear end from my birthday. those will go in at the same time of everything.
broken PPF that was welded up by a friend. all welds were perpindicular to the cracks to reinforce.
im going to look at some ground control co's with (this is where i will need some help) stiff spring rates. ive heard that 550/350 is pretty much the way to go but read that maxcooper prefers 450/350(we have spoke about this a few times max). im not worried about stiff ride as i also have a full suspension crx. GC's that are 400/600 with AGX shocks, soon to be koni yellows, etc... also what length should i get for the springs on the CO's that will be mated to koni yellows. shoudl i worry about the length since the yelllows have the three perch settings? i also heard there are two different diameter springs. should i get the narrower spring or the wider one? im not looking into REAL CO's because i dont want to wait weeks for a new one when and if they go bad. this is a street car with PERFORMANCE in mind.
im going to get the trailing arms and toe links. any reccomendations on which to get since so many are out now?
i think that might hold me over for short bit. id like to have a tad bit more over steer than usual. please, anything you say can help:)

Sounds like you've got it pretty much figured out :).

I'm running Tanabe Sustec Pro SS Coilovers, with spring rates of 559 front and 449 rear and absolutely love them. Car handles like a dream on Motorsport Ranch, a local road course.

i have been toying with the idea of 550/450(just about what you have). i dont want it to be soft thats for sure. i dont mind a bouncier rougher ride. i kinda enjoy that more because i feel that i get more feedback from the road. this is what i think happens with spring rates, please correct me if im wrong.
550/350 will give more understeer compared to the next two.
450/350 corrects the understeer and helps you turn in better but makes the ride softer
550/450 will give you the stiff ride and the 450 will bring oversteer back into the equation by not haveing a 350 rear.
im not too sure if this is correct, but its what i think. let me have it, right or wrong. maybe close.

You're not too far off the mark.

550/450 would likely be the max you'd want to go wrt spring rates. Most people want to dial out the FD's tail-happiness .. so lowering the rear spring rate is not a bad way of doing this. Since you have the Koni Yellows, I'd say be careful that you don't overdamp the shocks. If you're not heavy into auto-x or track racing, I would recommend going with a little softer spring rate .... for your teeth's sake. ;)

im extremely heavy into autoxing. i won ASP last year with mostly power mods(no suspension or tires). didnt win by much, but nonetheless. i would love to get my lazy ass out to laguna seca, thunderhill, and buttonwillow here in CA. like i said, im not afraid of losing ride quality. ill just take a pack of gum with me whenever i drive so i have something to soften the teeth chatter.

im planning on going with the 550/450 after thinking about it. if for some reason i just dont like the setup will the 450's be able to move to the front and would i just be able to buy new 350's for the rear? i know it can be done on hondas. also, is there any reason why i shouldnt get the regular length springs that GC provides?
