Stance XR COILOVERS CUSTOM VALVED 10/8 RATES
You wanted it so I made it. These typically come in a 14/12 spring rate but I had Stance custom valve a set for me and they are being shipped to SoCal for testing by a fellow member. I can't wait. These are already in production. You can always have your trusted local shop contact us if they are interested. Support your local business and maybe we can afford to educate our children in public schools.
Features you and Howard Coleman have wanted: 1. Rubber Bushing in Front and Rear Uppermounts 2. 10/8 spring rates, we can also swap out to 8/6 spring rates. 3. SWIFT SPRINGS FTW. 4. Helper springs in rear to provide MORE DROOP TRAVEL, wheel lift is your enemy 5. Rebuildable and custom valveable in the states Now for the general features of the XR and what makes its technology different from other dampers. This is some generalized info, I'm waiting for testing and more specifics to provide you guys. Some of this is proprietary so Stance will not release internal photographs of the piston or shim stack. Manufactured in Japan MSRP: $2495.00, Remember that Swift springs are a $400.00 MSRP that's worked into the pricing of this product. No compromises have been made on this coilover. "Stance XR is a brand new coilover developed from ground up with new piston design, larger 60mm OD dampers(GR+ 55mm, LX+ 52mm). Industry leading large 60mm OD casing, reduces rod pressure for consistent performance. The newly designed "sensing" piston responds with full damping capability within as little as 2mm of shaft movement. Instant reaction to changing road surface equals traction and comfort. XR features inverted monotube (strut type) construction for consistent valving and to withstand high lateral forces of racing. XR comes standard with Swift springs. Swift springs are made from H5S.TW which is stronger than regular silicone chrome material. Strong material allows for less coils, which makes them lighter, more consistent, and offer more stroke than any other spring brands. XR features double reinforced lower bracket (strut type) to ensure minimal deflection during high lateral cornering. XR is a no compromise high performance coilover for those who seek the ease of single adjustable valving." http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/p...ANCEXRFD-1.jpg http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/p...NCEXRFDF-R.jpg http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/p...RUBBERUM-1.jpg http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/p...EXRFDSWIFT.jpg http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/p...XRFDHELPER.jpg Thanks, Rishie |
*obligatory* Where's the brake line guide bracket? Does it scrape/rub the lower linkage? Can I get lowered more than a 25" stance?
These look great, for those of us that can't afford to fix up our cars, but want to splurge on other parts while the car is not running yet, is there an option for a re-valved GR+3-Way adjustable with the rubber bushings in the upper mounts in 10/8? And is "rubber bushings" the preferred alternative to pillow ball? or is that unrelated terminology? ~CYD |
I have not installed the coilovers as yet. This is the first set. I do not believe it will rub against anything. The product has been tested in Japan for fitment. It should definitely go lower than 25" stance.
Yes for double wishbone suspension pillowballs are unnecessary so this is the preferred setup. GR+3 can be custom valved with rubber bushing if desired. That has to be done at the time of order. They are sealed units and cannot be revalved stateside. We have to order them from the factory with your exact recommendations. Thanks, rishie Here's photos of the brake line bracket. http://i421.photobucket.com/albums/p...AKEBRACKET.jpg |
Are you setting up a group buy for these or something? Or do we just order from you?
Can the brake line brackets be purchased separately?
Best price for FC? 8/6 springrate. Thanks.
Pm best price for 8/6.
Oh I forgot to mention for FD and with brake line brackets.
Brake Line brackets are standard on XR coilover. The next shipment should be here early June. Very limited quantity of sets are coming in.

Thanks for rushing them out to me Rishie!! I was able to move the car last night!........ install was a breeze.. and even though I havn't driven on them yet, the build quality looks great. Not to mention just holding them feels like I had a single piece of metal in my hand..they're so solid man.. Pics to come when photobucket maint/ is finished..

Sweet, can't wait Aaron.

Oh i pretty much set the preload on the springs at a good baseline for now. You just need to make sure the collars are all tight once on the car and adjust your ride height. Once you start dialing the car in you can set the amount of Droop travel you want on the suspension by increasing or reducing the preload on the helper spring. If you add droop you will lose compression stroke so just make sure you find that fine balance.

Good to know, thanks. Already tightened all the collars... And I'll adjust ride height as so on as I get my wheels on..woooo!
Sweet please post te price for the brackets when they are available. I'll be waiting impatiently with money in hand lol
I'm still waiting on pricing.
Keep in mind that you might need to do some slight modification to the bracket based on the OD of your brake lines. If you have aftermarket brake lines you might need to dremel it out a little to make space for your added girth. Thanks, Rishie |
It shouldn't be a problem, I have stainless lines that fit fine on my koni shocks which are meant for stock lines.
Manny, show me some pics of the ride height please.
I can't wait! Please let us know after your drive them around. What were your running before these?
Please pm price for FD
Can we buy that bracket and clamp for the brake line seperately?
I'll post ride height pics asap... just waiting on my lug nuts......;)
I was on Tein Flex's before these.. |
Sorry I'll have to take a much better picture of the car when I get home today but heres this one for now..
