Stance coilover disassembly

Quick question that I can't find an answer to...

I have stance GR's. From what I've read, the spherical bearings in the upper mounts up front are shot, and creek. They need replaced.

There's a nut on top of the coilover, will that come off without the whole thing springing apart or anything? Any other tips on replacing the bearings?

I would just take it apart and figure it out, but this is a daily and it can be down no longer than one day, so I'd like to know what I'm doing before I start.

I've never taken a coilover apart, and can't find any info on it, Stance's website is a joke.

Also, any good places to get the bearings? I assume any place that sells Stance's can get the parts, I'll try calling touge factory tomorrow.

Thanks in advance.
Nate

if you have any preload in the springs, release them by loosening the spring seats. The top nut will come off without the whole thing springing apart. Good luck!

If you need to replace the pillowball part of the plate please contact me and i'll source it for you. Do you only need the fronts?
