should i wax my rims/
 

my car will be sitting for a while for repairs and upgrades. I have gold volk gram lights. I was wondering if anyone knew what type of paint or process they use to get the gold on there, and if I should wax the rims to protect them?

why would you want to wax your rims??? That would be a slickey move, no?

not sure, but ive waxed some before and i works wonderfully

Not sure, I"ll ask my buddy but when he waxed mine and sealed it, it made it so much more easier to wash the rims :)

Wax away, the wheels will be better off that way.

Is there any special wax to prevent brake dust to collect and stick on the rims?

nope, wax is wax, all it does is make the car shiny and offers SOME protection
