FD - Anyone have experience with Sikky front sway bar?
What it appears to have going for it:
- It's tubular (not a boat anchor)
- It's 3 way adjustable (having flexibility is nice to have)
- It's available
What's peculiar:
- Sikky chose to narrow the mounting points in order to accommodate setups with increased steering angle; and they did this by making/including an adapter plate that moves the bushing mount location inboard a little. LINK
- Can't find anyone that runs it
I'm curious if anyone here actually has one and what feedback they can share from their experience.
Also curious if anyone capable of making an informed opinion on this topic, cares to share their thoughts on Sikky's decision to narrow the middle section of the bar? Any potential for negative effects to either how the bar counters roll (due to it's shorter mid-section and longer arms) or strain put on the sway bar mounts (since the bushings are not mounted square on the brackets)?

Seems like the moment arm to the chassis side sway bar bracket is doubled. Not sure how I would interpret that... I was also laying my eyes on the sikky bar for the same reason. Thanks for pointing that out!
On the other hand, is there any splined sway bar brackets available that fits the FD? All of the splined "boomerangs" I've seen don't bend towards the wheel.
