Hi,
Finally got around to doing my six pillowballs last night. Used a press for the 4 lower ones and Max's bolt method for the 2 upper ones. Took my mate and I about 2 hours all up to do and that was taking half an hour to find a high tensile bolt that was long enough to do the bolt removal. We tried a normal bolt and the damn thing broke off. Those pillowballs are tough little suckers. Rear of the car feels tighter now and the clunking is gone. I wanted to say thanks to Max for his excellent writeup. Made it easy to do, even for someone as mechanically challenged as myself :) If you have rear clunks, like Nike says, just do it. :rlaugh: |
