Use a known fitment and this tool to compare.

They are the BBS cast flow formed mono-block racing wheel.

Can anyone suggest a good track-oriented fitment for 275/35R17s? Or is that too short of a tire?

Maybe 9.5" +45 or 10" +50?

Would 9.5" +38 stick out way too much?

I have 10 et 48 rear and 9 et45 for the front. Also still have to order optimal tyres for m. The 275/35 on the rear will prob be the best fit. Front 255/35 or so. If you find better fit or rubbing with the above combo his please report 😅

theyre the left wheels, china LM’s

I mean for 275 all around. I realized it might be a viable option since they make the Nankang CR-S in that size.

Might need some fender roll action. Like when hitting a curbstone with some steering angle

I suspect the 10" wide +50 would offer the most clearance on the front with a 275. For context, I run 9" wide, +45 with 255/40/17 and the fronts can rub especially when pulling into driveways for gas stations and such here in the US. Definitely need to roll the front fenders. The rears seem to have plenty of room with any of the widths and offsets you are considering.

The 275/35R17 is probably ok for a track tire. The overall diameter varies by manufacturer. Hoosier's Track Attack is 0.25" shorter than my 255/40/17. The Nankang CR-S is 0.4" shorter.

The only problem is that 10+50 is such a rare fitment, even for 18s.

the only 17x10s I know of are the Hypergram 17x10 +43, rpf1 17x10 +38, Apex 17x10 +48. If you move up to 18s there are some other options than the ZE40. Th highest offset I've seen is the Enkei GTC02 in 18x10 +45, otherwise there is Apex 18x10 +40. There are also some options for 18x10.5s, but would more likely need a fender roll in the front. With reference to the fender, a 18x10.5 +45 is the same clearance as a 18x10 +39, though the tire tread and section width maybe result slightly different fitment. I would roll the fenders if you can, then you should easily fit most of the options.

There are also some Advans.

Come to think of it, I seem to remember people were saying 275/35ZR18 was too tall for the front, but it's only .3 inches taller than the stock 235s.
Any reason I couldn't go with them?

There are a bajillion 18x9.5" wheels to choose from.

275/35-18 is 25.6" in outer diameter, which is probably too large.

Don't forget Titan 7 T-R10 in 18x10 +50

https://titan-7.com/collections/whee...39680711819352

For tires, I would go with 285/30-18 - 24.7" OD

Best Street Tire (and some track for those who are not weekend track worriors):
- CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT SPORT 02

200tw track tire:
- BRIDGESTONE POTENZA RE-71RZ
- BRIDGESTONE POTENZA RE-71RS
- MICHELIN PILOT SPORT CUP 2 (240)
- FALKEN AZENIS RT660+
- NANKANG SPORTNEX CR-S

Insanely fast track tire:
- GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 SUPERCAR 3R
- HOOSIER A7 & RX7
- HOOSIER TRACK ATTACK R RACE A8 & R8 (ooooh, this will be insane!)

Another option: 295/30-18 - same 25" OD as a 255/40-17

Best Street Tire (and some track for those who are not weekend track worriors):
- CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT SPORT 02

200tw track tire:
- VITOUR TEMPESTA P1 P-01R
- YOKOHAMA ADVAN A052
- CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT FORCE

- BRIDGESTONE POTENZA RE-71RZ
- BRIDGESTONE POTENZA RE-71RS
- MICHELIN PILOT SPORT CUP 2 (240)
- FALKEN AZENIS RT660+
- NANKANG SPORTNEX CR-S

Insanely fast track tire:
- HOOSIER TRACK ATTACK PRO
- HOOSIER A7 & RX7
- HOOSIER TRACK ATTACK R RACE A8 & R8 (ooooh, this will be insane!)

Thanks for the suggestions. The Titan 7s are way too expensive for me at the current exchange rate. Especially if you consider shipping.

I have 255/40/17s in the front and they don’t seem to be too tall. But any taller than that would probably cause issues.

For +45s, there’s a number of locally available options.

Read this whole thread and a few more

Question
I have done a lot of reading but still have not seen anyone try this. Here is my set up and this is my goal. Current setup ohlins coilovers 1.3 camber R18 9.5 offset 38 on 255/35 tires rears are R18 10 offset 35 285/30 with both front and rear feeders rolled. I want to see if anyone has taken a shot at 275/30 on the fronts. Any experience or suggestions would help
